I am privileged and honored to be invited to join the Colorado Voters for Animals Board of Directors! CVA was founded in 1996 and has over 8,000 supporters today. CVA conducts candidate surveys, publishes scorecards ranking individual legislatures on their stands on animal welfare issues, testifies at legislative hearings, and helps craft bills that improve animal welfare in our state.
CVA is a nonprofit and all-volunteer organization comprised of attorneys, veterinarians, political strategists, shelter/rescue staffs, and everyday citizens who are passionate about making the world a more compassionate, protective world for local animals and wildlife. CVA’s work has helped outlaw cat declawing, allowed life-saving intervention when an animal is confined in the heat/cold threatened environment of a locked vehicle, designated shelter and rescue dogs and cats as Official State Pets, and works with legislatures on issues pertaining to food-producing animals and wildlife.
Join me as a member of this powerful and altruistic organization. Contact me or anyone on the board at: www.www.covotersforanimals.org. I am thrilled to be a part of this urgent and necessary bipartisan group of animal lovers who are actively working to make our state home to a forward-planning, humane, and magnanimous group of dedicated citizens.
